Rachel Etterley, founder of Etterley Consulting, has CIPD membership and more than 10 years HR management experience in the NHS. Starting at the bottom of the profession and working her way up means that Rachel has worked in or managed most of the HR disciplines. She has also worked in a strategic capacity for five years as a Deputy HR Director working at board level. Rachel’s background means she is very familiar with working in large multi-site and heavily unionised organisations employing diverse staff groups with varying employment patterns and contracts.
Rachel has a wealth of experience in complex and challenging organisational environments. Amongst these she has supported managers with a massive organisational change project with the merger of three large organisations into one. She has also championed the ‘HR MOT’, actively involving the senior management team in developing a HR restructure that had organisation-wide ownership.
Rachel thrives on challenges, has high standards and is a problem-solver who enjoys finding solutions for sticky issues. She has a reputation for being down to earth, adaptable, approachable, and able to put people at ease.
